Reviews, photos and videos for program: Lake Superior from Historic Naniboujou Lodge: Fur Trade History, Culture, Walks

Naniboujou Lodge is a delightful place to hear inspired presentations about a magical area. My only regret is the time went so very fast. Fellow participants were fun to know and the program was a good balance between lectures and outdoor classrooms. Kudos to Bill and Bunny for their pleasant, yet effective leadership. The lodge dining room and food was excellent.

It was energizing to have knowledgeable instructors and participants who were anxious to learn about the region.

Wonderful program. Excellent price. You won't find a better value. You will walk, listen, explore, laugh and truly relax. The waves of Lake Superior accompany you as you explore the North Shore. Naniboujou Lodge is wonderful, with amazing decor and high quality food. Great trip.

This was my first program with Road Scholar. It was fantastic! I learned a lot about Lake Superior and its surroundings. THe presenters were marvelous and the participants were friendly, educated, and helpful.

Outstanding varied program on Lake Superior, the fur trade, forests, birds and native peoples. The daily hikes were vibrant and educational. This is a great time of year for hiking nature trails and seeing Pigeon Falls and Devil's Kettle at their peaks. The location is perfect.
