Our grandson chose this program from the huge intergeneration catalog. He loved every minute of it. My husband enjoyed the many activities and I was able to choose what I could or could not do. The staff was flexible, friendly and patient. Meal were outstanding and the site is gorgeous.

This was an excellent active program. Highlights were riding the "torpedo" at Cohutta Springs Lake, canoeing the Hiwasee River, and white water rafting the Ocoee River. The leaders were great. Always communicative and helpful. And most importantly they were VERY safety conscious. The food and accommodations were quite good. We even snorkeled in a river with 77 different fish species - very uncommon for fresh water. Activities were in both Georgia and Tennessee. I was very impressed with the beauty and clarity of the rivers. And being from Washington state, it was wonderful to enjoy the warmth of the rivers and lakes compared to our own. There were a few thunderstorms, but the leaders always worked around them and we did not miss any activities. I was concerned about running into snakes in this area, but other than the python shown to us on our behind the scenes tour at the Tennessee Aquarium, I did not see a single snake. Our 12 year old grandson rated everything as "awesome" and so I highly recommend this program.
