The Bicycling trip in Acadia National Park was very special!! It was a very well organized trip full of absolutely great scenery, good food, nice people, lots of fun activities & learning opportunities and run daily by terrific guides. I cant speak more highly of it and truly recommend it!! Tom B.

Excellent. Difficult, but manageable bike riding in a gorgeous setting with excellent guides. We heard about the history and life in Bar Harbor, as well as the nature and geology/formation of the area. Accommodations were within walking distance of the waterfront, shopping and restaurants. Our guides were knowledgeable and personable. It was my first Road Scholar trip and I am anxious to do another.

We were blessed with sunny days throughout the program but I imagine Mount Desert Island is beautiful even in different weather. The rides were challenging but fun and there were many opportunities to stop, take pictures, enjoy the views and rest. I would happily do this again and I recommend it to anyone who wants an active program.
