Third time in a Cincinnati intergen program and it was great! Activities varied and kept us hopping with no time for boring. Would have liked a bit more time for horses. Kids were just getting into it. Grandson now has interest in continuing at home. Coordinators LuAnn and Delores were the best, always up to changes in schedule and helping with problems. Can't say enough good about this. Total success and grandson continues to share all that he experienced.

My granddaughter had a great time, with a great variety of activities that interested her. She connected well with the other children on the trip.

Wow! Did we ever get our money's worth! Food, transportation, action packed events and adventures, camaraderie for both children and grandparents, and great leaders! Would definitely highly recommend it.

My granddaughter and I just got back from our third intergenerational trip. My granddaughter hasn't stopped talking about it and is encouraging her younger brother to go on this trip another year. We enjoyed all the activities and liked the pace of what we did. My granddaughter's favorites were the Bryndale Stables, Cincinnati Zoo, Newport Aquarium and the clowns from Mojo Circus. My favorites were Newport Aquarium, Krohn Conservatory (I loved the butterflies), owl presentation and dissecting an owl pellet, and the dulcimer concert. The activities were education but didn't make you feel you were back in school. I would highly recommend this trip.

My 7 1/2 year old grand niece thoroughly enjoyed her first Road Scholar program. The zoo has very good exhibits and the "animal encounters" are well done. Feeding the giraffe was a highlight. The train ride was "lame" (her words); it was short, less than 7 minutes and we mostly saw trees and shrubs, very little of the zoo. Don't miss the 4-D show. It was a welcome relief from the heat and the hilly terrain and very entertaining. The visit to the horse center was excellent. We learned a lot about horses. The only disappointment was the riding was in the indoor ring and not a trail ride. All of the activities were very good. The interaction with the dulcimer band was entertaining with the kids learning a Kentucky reel and having home band instruments to play. The Circus Mojo presentation the last morning was very good. We learned to juggle, spin plates, balance feathers, etc. and their message of "stick to it", practice, work hard, plan to enable to follow your dream was very well done. The restaurants were outstanding with excellent food. The meals were a little too leisurely for the children and they were fidgeting by the time we left. My grand niece wanted to know what Road Scholar we were going to do next year as she had so much fun on this one. A very good sign.
