This was my first time to attend--but it won't be my last! I didn't expect to laugh so much all week! I felt welcomed and included by everyone, and their encouragement gave me confidence. Great instructors for all levels, delicious homestyle food, fun times with friendly people, and at the end of the day, a comfortable bed. I had a GREAT time!

Best opportunity for learning mountain dulcimer for the first timer, or to increase your skills if you already play, in a comfortable, no-stress setting. I have gone five years in a row and always find it fun, relaxing, and informative.

This retreat was fun, informative and in a beautiful setting. I wouldn't change a thing about it!

I have been to his program many times. Registration was uninformed and terrible. If I had not known what it was, I would not have gone. Those people in the central office are trying to kill business.

As a repeat attendee, I have enjoyed this program very much. Its like old home week as many return each year.

Who knew you could actually learn to make beautiful music on the mountain dulcimer in 5 days? The beginner's instructor was a magician! He had our group sounding great within 2 days. The lodging was located in a beautiful area of the Kentucky hills, the instructors were phenomenal and all the participants were enthusiastic. I hope to return next year and will recommend this program to anyone with an interest in folk music.

This was an outstanding opportunity to learn new dulcimer skills with top teachers. Plus, although 50% of those attending were returnees, and I was first-timer, traveling alone, I felt welcomed and included in all activities. An overall fun, educational experience!
