Reviews, photos and videos for program: Adventure in the Monadnock Region By Cross-Country Skis and Snowshoes

This was my first Road Scholar outing, and it exceeded expectations in every regard. Facilities, organizers, accommodations and meals were outstanding. The other participants were fun and sources of information and education. It was great to work with ski instructors as needed and otherwise set out with others or alone to explore ski trails and make snowshoe tracks through forested hills as desired. Marvelous experience and one I'd recommend to new or re-familiarizing cross-country skiers and snowshoers.

What a beautiful area to cross country ski or snow shoe. Each day you have the option do do either and the ski instructors are excellent and right there with you on the trails. No matter if you are a beginner or experienced, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

The number of people who repeat make a statement of their own....this program is so well run, we are so well fed, and the activities accommodate any skill level. Lynn E was our "hostess" and led lovely snow shoe hikes, mis-named "death marches". As hostess she ensured, along with Chuck, that every participant had a wonderful program. I can't wait to return next year and be a "repeater".

I had so much fun I hated to leave. Several (nine) people returned so it was a social event more than I could dream. Of course, the setting and the staff, and Chuck Anderson make it so comfortable for all.
