This was a wonderful ski trip. As a first time Road Scholar participant I was a little nervous about going alone. But I had a great time skiing. Food was super and other participants great. I felt right at home.

If all you want to do is ski and receive instruction along the way, this is the program for you. Your nannies (Gary and Sandy) take care of everything else; great food, steps to the slopes and your ski locker, good programs, all the information you can handle, and a wealth of knowledge about the area, the mountain, and the facilities. Great value! We loved it!

this is a great program even if you are not a super skier- the lessons help you improve a lot; the food is excellent, the snow is good

An outstanding program. It's easy to see why so many enrolled were repeaters. I hope to return. A class act!

Gary and Sandy as superb hosts, create a fun and exhilarating ski experience. From the fantastic food, the after ski-programs, experienced ski instructors, yoga/stretch classes in the morning, to the slope-side lodging, this program is the best! I am a life-long skier; this was my 3rd ski program with them, and have done several in Colorado with Road Scholar. I am looking forward to next year's possible treat from Gary: Perhaps a new program at Deer Valley. Happy Skiing!

This was my third ski trip with the same program and, as usual, I enjoyed the convenience of the accommodations, meeting wonderful people, and being well taken care of by the leaders who provided the efficient and thorough arrangements. However, what made this trip particularly memorable and meaningful to me is that the program allowed me to include my young adult daughter in the group. Even though I’d shared my wonderful Road Scholar ski program experiences with her, I always knew my daughter would appreciate it more if she could participate and experience it herself. It turns out, I was right! She has benefited over and beyond the professional ski lesson and made incredible progress with her very first ski trip. By mingling with many educated and sophisticated seniors, she was in fact learning a living history from the valuable stories of each individual life. I really think this kind of opportunity is beneficial and helpful to both generations which help both appreciate and understand each other. I hope Road Scholar will be more aggressive in promoting the inclusion of other age groups in its advertisements. I had to make several inquiries to clarify the requirement before I finally got my daughter added to this trip. Overall, it goes without saying, we had a blast, a great and outstanding time.

This was my first RS trip and I'm hooked. The group of participants were fun and interesting. Park City is a must see and the skiing was fantastic. The Host/Hostess are awesome people and their cooking was truly first class. I will be returning next year without hesitation.

We just got back tonight from spending two weeks with Gary and Sandy in their Road Scholar ski-in, ski-out program at Park City. It was superb, as always. We have been going to the program for 5 years now and heartily recommend it. As we have gotten older, we have searched for places that make it easy to get back and forth to the slopes, as well as not being too expensive. That's a tough combination to find, but this program meets and exceeds our expectations. For what we get, and it's a great deal, the price is very fair. Hope to see you there in the future. Don't forget: sign up early - even during the summer - so you can make sure that you get a room in the lodge. Rooms go fast. Lynn and Jay

Hard to find adequate superlatives to describe this ski experience! Best combination of high quality cuisine and hotel facilities, great ski instructors and unique educational programs I've ever experienced.

Park City Ski trip was super! My 7th time here and the mountain just gets bigger! Ski in/out accomodations are a definite bonus. Meals were excellent, prepared by our leaders, Gary & Sandy Nielson. Great ski instruction and terrific time with interesting and fun participants.

If you want a true ski in ski out trip, this is definitely it! It is very difficult to match these acommodations, plus being a single skier the friendly atmosphere makes it very easy to find others of the same ability to ski with outside lesson times.

You may share my review in total, or partial, as long as it is not taken out of context, with any one. I enjoy Road Scholar programs and promote them at every opportunity. However, I am concerned as costs esculate that attendance declines. Please consider ways to reduce costs. Search outside the box and remember your humble beginnings. The greatest learning opportunities do not require 5 star facilities. Thank you.

FANTASTIC ski trip. I return to Park City every winter to ski with this program. Going during the Sundance Festival is special There is the opportunity to see some films and ski on empty slopes. The leaders are great and very responsive to the group needs. A wonderful stretch/yoga class in the morning sets you up for a great day of skiing. Once you attend this program, you want to return. It has been fun to reconnect with the past participants.
