Reviews, photos and videos for program: Birding in the Sonoran Desert: Cactus Wrens to Vermilion Flycatchers

The program was as advertised and the group leaders were excellent. Eric's hearing helped us find birds that we would have otherwise not found. Bonnie provided support with bird identification and the scope that maximized the accuracy of the information being provided. It was a large group for birding but the attendees cooperated very well with each other.

Wonderful birding to places one would never find on their own. Years of birding this area has allowed Eric Moore , the skilled leader,to bring birders to the specific places the various species live and nest as well as pass through. We covered several ecological areas and saw over 100 species with a good group of new and expert birders. We highly recommend this well though out and organized trip. Marilyn from MD

This program (Birding in the Sonoran Desert) was great with wonderful birds and a leader/instructor that was knowledgeable, organized and fun to be around. I really enjoyed this trip.

This was a fabulous program. We saw over a hundred species of birds, as well as lots of desert wildflowers. Eric Moore was kind, thoughtful, and always attentive to our group. He is an amazing naturalist. He knows every desert bird by sight and sound. The week couldn't have been any better.

An outstanding program. Leader and co-leader were great. We spotted and identified over one hundred species. One day we saw and identified six species of hawks. Accommodations and food were very good. My overall rating is Outstanding.

Birders will be very pleased with this Program. We saw about 100 different birds and a great selection of birding spots throughout the Sonoran desert.

If you are looking for a very active birding experience, with an excellent guide, this program is for you. You rise early, because that what birders do, but Eric makes it worth you effort. We saw so many birds, and he always helps everyone to get on the bird.
