My hobby is Geology. This program expanded my knowledge of how dinosaur fossils are found and preserved. The Hot springs in the area were a wonderful sight and learning the history of the area was enlightening.

The program was very well planned and the entire staff were very accommodating and patient with us newbies. I learned a great deal about geology as well the various aspects of paleontology. I would highly recommend this program.

Excellent program. We worked on large dinosaur bones. Our small group spent part of the day digging a site and the rest of the day removing rock from the bones using various tools. For our field trip we saw petroglyphs, found fossils, explored Wind River Canyon, saw a bison ranch, and toured the Hot Springs with an expert. The inside of the museum is impressive. If you ever wanted to learn more about dinosaurs or be a paleontologist this is a great trip.

If you're interested in dinosaurs and geology, this is a fabulous program. The leader and instructor are fine people. The museum is excellent. Learning to do lab prep on a dinosaur bone is a super experience. On a five pt. scale this is a six.

If you want to learn a lot about dinosaurs in a week and enjoy working with other people on a project to help preserve the past, I highly recommend this program. The staff and the other people on the program were all nice to be around. The staff was very good at teaching us how to use the tools and explaining what is was we were looking at. Also, Thermopolis is in a pretty part of the country.

WOW!! It's really fascinating to learn how dinosaur bones are removed from the surrounding stone and then to do it. I appreciate all those skeletons so much more now.

I was new to paleontology when I participated in this program, and it was challenging, fun, and a great learning experience. I came away energized and excited about my small contribution in preserving the past for future generations, and possibly participating in other, similar programs. Both the leaders and the participants were a joy to be around.
