Thoroughly enjoyable. The days were packed and our group covered lots of ground, from Cape Lookout and Tillamook Bay all the way up the coast to Fort Stevens State Park on the Columbia River. Breathtakingly beautiful landscapes and seascapes, old growth forests, towering trees, atmospheric shipwrecks (the "Peter Iredale"), and lovely hiking trails in some of Oregon's wonderful state parks. The hiking was more strenuous than I bargained for, but our guides made sure we had numerous options to fit our wishes and capabilities. After completing what was for me a tough 5-mile hike to Cape Lookout, I opted out of the next long hike and instead enjoyed a ramble through the forest and a pleasant lunch in Cannon Beach. Our program guides were very accommodating and flexible in fitting each day's activities to people's wishes. There truly was something for everyone. If you love the great outdoors and enjoy walking on the beach or hiking in the shade of massive trees, you will enjoy this program.

This was a wonderful program! There was an incredible amount of variety and you stay pleasantly busy throughout the day. We hiked numerous beaches, the rainforest, saw bald eagles in flight and wondrous vistas of the Pacific Ocean. Fort Clatsop was brought to life in laymen's terms by our expert park ranger. If you are looking for a peaceful, beautiful trip that has a lot of hiking options, this would be a great pick for you.

If you enjoy a spectacularly beautiful coastline, hiking in old growth forests, listening to a variety of bird calls, seeing puffins in their natural habitat, seeing elk, deer, seabirds, eagles and meeting lots of great people, this program is for you.

This was a fabulous trip from start to finish. I recommend it to anyone who wants to view beautiful scenery, learn about the Northern Oregon Coast. Plenty of hiking activity, lots of wonderful food, knowledgeable guides... couldn't have been better. We even had perfect weather.
