This was my first trip with Road Scholars (or any tour group) and it will definitely not be my last! This trip provided an outstanding introduction to a fascinating city. Our guides and our lecturer were top notch. A thoughtful combination of antiquities, museums, historic buildings and churches, parks, and performances - this was a trip I could never have planned myself! The days are VERY full - but worth every minute. I just have to find time to go back to Mexico City and learn more. Thanks for a great experience.

The program is a great way to get a great introduction to Mexico City. I felt a great affinity for Mexico.

This program is an outstanding introduction to Mexico City. I have been there before for a couple of days three times in the past, and I think they hit all the important places they could in the time allotted. The logistics of navigating this sprawling city were handled well. The staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel they used was clean and pleasant, and I always felt safe on this trip. It is described as active, and that's accurate. This program is for people who can go all day without much rest. My only criticism would be that the program could be a bit longer to allow for some free time. I wouldn't cut anything out! Highlights for me included Teotihuacan, the Anthropology museum, and the Museum of Templo Mayor. There was nothing we did that I didn't like.

Mexico City is sophisticated and beautiful, with state-of-the-art museums and breathtaking archeological sites, lovely parks and gorgeous, eclectic architecture. Road Scholar's guides and lecturers made the trip even more meaningful. Mexico City is also the largest city in our hemisphere, and was the capital of previous cultures. We should all get to know this neighbor better!

This trip gave me a fascinating insight into how Mexico's art has reflected the changing political and social climates through the centuries and decades. I was absolutely mezmerized by the amount of interesting knowledge our guides and instructors gave us. And I also appreciated how thoughtfully our guides planned an alternative outing when the Ballet Folklorico was unexpectedly cancelled. The trip was absolutely superb in every sense!
