Road Scholar
Program #15533RJ
5 Days | 4 Nights
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

The beauty of Tanglewood and the music from BSO was outstanding. Thank you Road Scholar for making this program so delightful. We will look forward to another season in the near future. Gary and Myrna from San Diego.

Stanley from New York, NY Number of programs attended: 4
Date attended: 08/21/14 - 08/25/14
The program was exceptional in every way. The group, though large, was friendly and congenial. The speakers and instrumental demonstrations were great, the music was glorious. A sunny Sunday afternoon with Beethoven's Ninth will be hard to beat.

I now understand the "Magic" of Tanglewood! Spine chilling music, wonderful speakers and great companions. Would recommend the weekend to anyone and everyone.

This was our third year in arrow that we attended - so I guess you can say we strongly recommend it. Not much better than a first class symphony in the Berkshires.

Dianne from York, ME Number of programs attended: 15
Date attended: 08/08/13 - 08/12/13
With a lifetime of appreciating the B.S.O. both in Boston and T-wood, this was undoubtedly the most extravagant of joyful programs that you've ever provided me! Thanks to all who organized it! Dianne Brown

Ruth from Needham, MA Number of programs attended: 1
Date attended: 08/08/13 - 08/12/13
The whole experience was very enjoyable. I do think we were over-programmed somewhat, but everything else was very nice. The people involved were all great. I enjoyed myself very much.

Stephanie from Westfield, IN Number of programs attended: 2
Date attended: 07/25/13 - 07/29/13
This is a great trip with activities people don't get with just a ticket to a performance. Instrument demonstrations and talks from officials gave insights that enhanced the experience of being at Tanglewood. A wonderful time for anyone who appreciates music.

Sarah Jane from West Newton, MA Number of programs attended: 0
Date attended: 07/25/13 - 07/29/13
My first Road Scholar experience and it was wonderful. Program was great and very well organized. I will definitely do more!
