This trip kept a nice pace. The activities were interesting and fun. I think the agenda facilitated a nice overview of coastal Maine history and sights. Our guide, Gail, was knowledgeable, amusing and unflappable. Hotels were great. Go on this trip if you want the flavor of Coastal Maine. You will like it!

A great trip that gives a good feel for the Maine coast. Beautiful scenery and very interesting field trips. Sailing on a schooner, pulling up traps on a lobster boat and a cruise out of Bar Harbor were special highlights.

Hotels are changed three times. If you like seafood, the food is excellent!. The haddock, salmon, and lobster are to die for! There is not a lot of history, geography, geology and anthropology offered. The exposition of Andrew Wyeth work and they Shakers were excellent. Visits to Acadia National Park and cruise on Frenchmans bay were very good. We were blessed with excellent weather but the leaves had not yet begun to change color.
