I would not change one word in the title of this program. There was much to experience in Quebec and we feasted on many different aspects of the culture, history and beauty. I had hoped for cooler weather buy alas..no one can control that aspect of a tour. Many thanks to all our instructors, guides and the welcoming staff at all the hotels.

One could not ask for better tour leaders than Sylvie Naseau and Andree Girard! The hotel accommodations were First class! Quebec was magic and so walkable.

This was my third RS trip, and far and away, the best! Every aspect of the trip was thoughtfully put together, researched and conducted. Our guides, Andree and Sylvie, were superb! My only regret was that it wasn't long enough!

This program covered the history, culture, art and music of the regions. It was a wonderful introduction to Montreal and Quebec.

From the Musée des Beaux Artes in Montreal to the village of Baie-St. Paul in the lovely region of Charlevoix, this is an exceptional tour of French-Speaking Quebec. Our group leaders, Sylvie and Andrée, were supported by a stellar cast of lecturers, musicians, and guides to ensure that our cultural immersion was complete and enjoyable. No detail was left to chance, resulting in unforgettable sightseeing, music, and art encounters. We also learned about the struggles and sacrifices of early French settlers in Quebec, and how that heritage has shaped the present-day politics and economy of Quebec. A special highlight was our two-day introduction to the Charlevoix region on the sweeping St. Lawrence waterway. The several Canadians in our group enjoyed the tour as much as did Americans -- there is something new to see and learn for everyone, even for those native to Quebec.

The France next door! So near, yet so very European! We loved our trip. It seemed to have just the right balance of lectures, concerts, arts, sightsk, great scenery and beautiful old towns. In addition to the charm of Quebec City and the excitement of Montreal, we enjoyed our time in the countryside, in Charlevoix.

I would definitely recommend this program. It couldn't have been better. It is so enlightening to see how people in other countries live. It boils down to that we are all striving to be happy and to live and let live.

Wonderful guides provide a wide and well balanced variety of activities - giving a full sense of the cities at an organized, unpressured pace. Museums, sites, musical experiences, city walks, but tours, views, lectures, meals...all well chosen. With just the right amount of free time to follow suggestions for exploration or to rest. And what nice participants. I didn't fully realize how much I'd seen and learned until the trip was over.
