This was my second Road Scholar trip and it was terrific. Prince Edward Island was a dream come true. Peaceful, lovely and just what I wanted. I travelled alone and met the lovliest, most friendly group of people. All very welcoming. Would love to travel with some of them again. Our side trip on our fre day was the highlight of the trip. Thank you Joann.

This delightful program fulfilled a long-time dream to see Green Gables. The program site is comfortable and peaceful. The varied experiences each day were interesting and enjoyable. The small group size made it possible to get to know everyone in the group. Would highly recommend seeing PEI, a beautiful island with much to offer.

Those of us that went on this trip because of Anne of Green Gables were not disappointed. We explored the area where the dreams of Anne were born. We soon discovered there was so much more to PEI than we thought. From history to cultural ways, from lobster fishing to organic farming, we covered so much in 6 short days.

Beth from Hopewell Junction, NY Number of programs attended: 2

What a wonderful trip. We learned a lot and were able to explore at times. Lots of questions were answered in a reasonable manner during the trips we made. The food was varied and local; we all loved that.

"Life by the Sea" is an excellent program--and Prince Edward Island is a beautiful Canadian province. Well planned activity program, we visited many towns and villages, and learned about the history and culture of PEI. Susan was a very informative and knowledgable leader. Highly recommend this trip.

Drusilla from Marquette, MI Number of programs attended: 7
Date attended: 06/15/14 - 06/21/14
If you want to get to know the island and the people of Prince Edward Island, this is the program for you. "Life by the Sea: A Prince Edward Island Exploration" was wonderful mainly due to Peter and Cindy Blanding of North Shore Institute. They are two very talented people who put together a well-rounded program.

Patricia from Urbana, IL Number of programs attended: 8
Date attended: 06/15/14 - 06/21/14
This well planned program will give anyone a varied way to experience the special place of Prince Edward Island through history, music, story, food and so much more. The small group size facilitates the making of new friends.
