Wonderful scenery, enjoyable music, gourmet food,(of gargantuan portions!), expert guides to satisfy the learning portion of the trip, well paced and comprehensive experience of the Candian Maritimes. I particularly enjoyed the Halifax/Titanic link, the Acadian contribution to all of us, the Anne of Green Gables connection, and not only the colorful characters who narrate the trip, but also the characters who participated!

If you are interested in the travails of early settlers in the area, untaxing walking in easy terrain areas, outstanding meals, including more than enough fresh lobster and mussels, and colorful, charming characters as guides, this program will be your "cup of tea".

Great intro to our neighbors to the North-their culture, industries, problems and pleasures. Program description should include the word "gourmet" to describe their fresh food!

Absolutely wonderful, memorable program. Learned a lot and had fun doing it. Food excellent, as were accommodations.

This was my first Road Scholar trip. I loved every minute of it. In the end, I felt that I not only had a good time, but I also learned a lot of history about the Canadian Maritimes. Although I had a friend with me, I wouldn't hesitate to do a trip by myself.

Pat from Long Beach, CA Number of programs attended: 4

The saga of the Maritime Provinces, its culture and history, is revealed each day of this marvelous program. You'll be delighted by the many guest instructors who describe the strong, resilient and creative settlers to the equally strong and creative current population who carry on the heritage. It's a "must do" program.

Beverly from Goshen, IN Number of programs attended: 39

This was a wonderful Road Scholar Adventure! Oh, how I wish I could repeat it all again. The Maritimes were more than I imagined!
