What a wonderful program! - exploring the rocky coastline, daily searching for interesting stones and sea glass, breathing in the fresh air, observing the amazing tides, enjoying great home cooked food, and learning about tides, plant & sea life, and the area's rich shipbuilding history. Kathy, who ran the Inn, went out of her way to make everyone comfortable! The room was wonderful, and the schedule was relaxed. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly. The participants, like other Road Scholar trips, were friendly and interesting. I'm so happy I participated in this program!

This is a great program, and I would definitely recommend it. The inn is lovely, situated on the bay, with spacious rooms and delicious meals. You can stroll to the water to see the day begin and end. More than that, the innkeepers are truly committed to making sure the participants are comfortable and enjoying themselves. The hikes are exhilarating and transverse different environments, offering different views ranging from bay beach to marshland to forest. They also often include an easier and a more challenging option from which to choose. Finally, the guides are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. And the visit to the village museum, with its hands-on presentation on the history of local shipbuilding, was a delight. I think everyone in our group had a wonderful experience.

Great trip! Great place to stay - the Tidal Watch Inn - because of Kathy Zinn, the provider. Her kitchen staff put out superb meals, she and her husband are very welcoming, and the instructor, Nancy Sears is wonderful.

I was intrigued by the stories of 50 foot tides. I was expecting more drama vertically. Instead it was the ocean going out very far and revealing the seabed and seacaves. The rocks were so amazing and endless on the beaches. There is so much to explore and so many landscapes from beach, to forest to marshes. The plant life is also worth the trip. The Tidewatch Inn has a beautiful location at the beach. It is comfortable, accommodating in all things, attentive to food choices and quality. There were hot beverages and sweets in the afternoon, several picnics, and rave reviews all around from fellow Roadies. Not easy to find flights and forced to go day before and spend the night in St John. The last part of the Fundy Trail will be completed in a few years making even more of the area accessible to see.

Fascinating to see the tide receding so quickly that it looked like a river! Once in a lifetime experience to watch this happening.
