One of the best organized, friendliest programs I've ever attended! Ted the leader and his crew were simply super. Well run, great food, lodging, and good entertainment (Ted and guitar). Just the right amount of hiking, and lunch was waiting for us by the river each day. Best to be capable of 8-10 miles of hiking, altho our distances varied and were quite reasonable. Leaders set the pace, always had a sweep. Best advice: GO ON THIS TRIP!

This trip is fabulous. Magnificent scenery over varied terrain of different geologic zones, but always the exciting Rogue River. Lodges very comfortable, with excellent meals. River raft segments delightful.

I loved this trip. The river and trail are beautiful. Hiking was up and down along the trail above the river, usually bridges across the creeks. Hiking with poles helped. This is a hike for someone who hikes frequently, able to do 7-10 miles day. Really loved the intermittent raft rides (2) which eased the hiking, and added a wonderful dimension to the experience. Guides were all delightful and skilled. Lodges at end of each day were unique, happy to see hot showers, and home cooked meals.

Nice combination of hiking on very well maintained trail with accomodations in lodges. Group got along great. Leaders were well informed and attentive to the diversity of the group. I recommend it.

Great professional guides who emphasis safety, especially rafting on the river. I loved the flexibility of being able to hike less and raft more on different days. Lodges were great. Participants were all very interesting people. The group was very small. I loved the experience.

This program is superb! The scenery is spectacular. The hiking is magnificent, and the options for riding in the boat when we wanted to made the experience quite flexible. Lodging and food were excellent, and the program staff were exceptional. I want to do it again next year!
