6 Days | 5 Nights
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

While nestled safely in a camp like environment on a gorgeous lake, learn about local crime history, guns, body fluid analysis, blood spatter analysis, crime scene photography, etc.

Jerry from Murphy, NC Number of programs attended: 6
Date attended: 10/20/13 - 10/25/13
Food was great. Setting was beautiful. People on site are friendly. Music portion fantastic. Living quarters slightly rundown and lacking. Learning material well-presented but far too technical. Prepare to climb stairs for meals and classrooms. Bring hearing aids and plenty of batteries.

My 2nd trip and both were very informative and interesting. The programs in both cases were taught by people who really knew their subjects and were able to impart some of their knowledge to the attending folks. The mix of people in both cases was also a definite plus. It added to the overall experience in a most positive way.

Blood, Bullets, Ballistics and Bifurcations: How Real CSIs Get the Job Done - An excellentg source if you plan to bump someone off! Seriously, highly recommended for anyone who is interested in Foresnsic Science. It will lay to rest any misunderstandings about forensic science as portraited on television. Believe it or not, a fun program!

If you are looking for a tranquil, out of the way location, Pilgrim Pines in Swanzey, NH is a lovely place. However, if you like TV and telephone in your room, this is the wrong program to attend.
I selected this program because there was no single supplement and the content of the program was something I had never really thought about.
Program presenters were very good and always took time for questions from the group. Chuck Anderson, program coordinator, was excellent and always sat in on all sessions. He mingled with everyone and made everyone feel welcome.
One field trip went to the Vermont Country Store which I did not feel was necessary. However, we also went to the Capitol in Concord and visited the State Building.
There were free afternoons on two days so we could go off on our own and explorer. Not everyone was pleased to have so much free time.
Food was varied and good considering we were not at a 5 star restaurant.
Overall, I enjoyed the program and was glad I attended and got to visit a section of NH that was new to me.
