Road Scholar
Program #21199RJ
12 Days | 11 Nights
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Active
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

As a solo traveler I was a little apprehensive about taking my first Road Scholar trip. Having taken the trip I would do it again in a flash - the other participants were friendly and had the same interests that I did. The group leaders were knowledgeable about their topics and accommodations were great. I got to practice my fledgling photography skills on the great scenery, too

We enjoyed very much touring three very beautiful national parks as well as many other varied and interesting areas of Washington State. Tour leader was very friendly and efficient, and our fellow travelers were a quite interesting and friendly group. The bus driver, John, was a wealth of knowledge and added immensely to the enjoyment of the trip. Since this was the maiden voyage for this particular tour, a few first-time bugs need to be worked out. The schedule was very intense; we wished for more free time in national parks. Also would prefer more local educators/experts, as we have become accustomed to on other Road Scholar journeys, rather than a full-time Study Leader and subsequent repetitive information. Look forward to our next Road Scholar adventure.
