If you are interested in getting acquainted with some of the large creatures that occupied our land 26,000 years ago, this is the program for you. It offers an opportunity to actually work with experts in the bone bed and laboratory at the Mammoth Site in Hot Springs, SD. Plan some extra time to get acquainted with this rich geological area and home to Native Americans peoples.

I thoroughly enjoyed the "Hands on Paleontology" program. Justin and Olga are very committed to their work and to your program. I learned a lot and have a deep appreciation for these ice age mammoths.

If you ever wanted to get your hands dirty being a paleontologist looking for fossils or bones in a cool, comfortable environment, this program is for you. Learn what patience these scientists possess to get their job done. Help with the tedious work in the lab knowing you are indeed making a small headway in their work. The program was a dream fulfilled. Thank you everyone involved in this program for making it the best. Ever so glad we could help with your work.
