This was my first experience with Road Scholar and I absolutely loved it! The key to this program's excellence is the instructor, Bob Dickey, because he is amazingly knowledgeable and fun to listen to! I am not a wine expert, but I was completely fascinated with the whole winemaking process. I especially like how the program is logically presented, focusing on vineyards and grape growing, then winemaking and lastly, wine blending and bottling. We were able to blend our own wine on our final day and celebrated with a fantastic multi-course dinner with wines to accompany each course while we listened to the winemaker (who provided the wine for the dinner) speak as we ate! I highly recommend this program!

This program was completely delightful. It was a good balance of information, experience, just plain enjoyment! Bob Dickey and the wine people he pulled in to the program were very interesting. Overall, an entertaining, educational, casual experience - with good people, good food and good wine!

The Passion of Wine: Exploring Santa Barbara's Artisanal Wine Country was a tremendous experience. Bob Dickey's expert knowledge and friendly story telling made this program all the more informative and enjoyable. I highly recommend this program for wine enthusiasts and those that just enjoy a glass from time to time
