Very interesting and educational. Wide variety of craft projects that were keepers, not junky, especially the glass blowing. Nice Mix of hands-on projects with tours and lectures.

Irene from Roswell, GA Number of programs attended: 4
Date attended: 07/19/15 - 07/24/15
What a great trip. My eight year old grandson and I loved it all! It's a great balance of activities - everything from great museums to arts and crafts and exciting outdoor activities like rocking climbing, archery and hiking through Watkins Glen Gorge. Irene

Joan from Simsbury, CT Number of programs attended: 9
Date attended: 06/21/15 - 06/26/15
This program was very interesting for us and our 12-year old granddaughter. The Homestead was a perfect spot, especially for grandchildren with all the outdoor facilities.

James from Philadelphia, PA Number of programs attended: 12
Date attended: 06/21/15 - 06/26/15
Our 8 year old grandson said, (without any prompt), "It was a great week!" That says it all. They were kept busy and interested every minute. Food good, accommodations clean and suitable--great pool and play/activity areas. Terrific trips to museums--the leaders kept the kids very engaged, a feat in itself. Hikes were fun, and all the on-campus wall climbing, archery, etc. were well done. R&J Tinsley, Philadelphia

Carolyn from Loudonville, NY Number of programs attended: 13
Date attended: 07/20/14 - 07/25/14
This was a wonderful way to get to know my 8 year old granddaughter. Both of us had a good time and enjoyed both the activities, each other, and the other participants in the program. I particularly liked the very hands on approach of almost all of the activities.

Gwen from Seneca Falls, NY Number of programs attended: 6
Date attended: 07/20/14 - 07/25/14
This program was just right for my granddaughter and me as it was almost constant hands on activities and crafts. Also in a beautiful rural setting and had nature activities as well as crafts. It is well organized and all the activities ran smoothly. We were both very pleased with this program.

Theresa from Amityville, NY Number of programs attended: 17
Date attended: 08/04/13 - 08/09/13
This program was delightful - and we never got bored! I attended with my 11-yr-old granddaughter, who enjoyed it as much as me. We made crafts from wood, glass, metal and nature. We had so many souvenirs we couldn't fit them all in our suitcase. Maggie proudly carried her homemade plan right onto our flight - and no one stopped her.

Sandi from Newport, VA Number of programs attended: 1
Date attended: 08/04/13 - 08/09/13
This program is a well-planned, interesting, learn-something-new adventure that would appeal to nature-lovers, historians, and those who enjoy hands-on experiences.
