Road Scholar
Program #1615RJ
6 Days | 5 Nights
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Easy
Road Scholar has thousands of educational adventures to choose from. A good way to narrow down our list is to browse our collection of "Most Popular" programs.
See all of our Most Popular programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

I had been to Branson before but this was an entirely different experience. Discovered how it developed through interesting lectures and shows. We saw several shows during the week and actually stayed an extra 2 days to see more shows. It was very worthwhile trip and I recommend it to all.

I always had heard of Branson and the great shows. Now I know for sure that it is a wonderful place to see shows, learn about the area, and have a great time.

You haven't lived until you have been exposed to the behind the scenes elements that influenced Brsnson. It is one thing to see the productions; it is rounded out when you understand the background.

Learned about the many facets of what makes the show go on. Like the faith, family, and flag theme. Very refreshing.

We had to take many taxi rides to the shows. It seems like some shuttle service would have helped us avoid all these extra costs as many of us were going to shows during the afternoons. Somehow, there should have been a little more "pep" promoted. It was very quiet and somber most of the time. The group needed someone to liven them up!!!!!!!!!!! Branson Towers was too remote from the strip. Rooms had an odor. It was just a little too old. Upgrade!

A delightful picture of a family-oriented entertainment venue

The Branson Shobiz program was even more than I'd hoped it would be. The Road Scholar crew did a really outstanding job of presenting the inside world of Branson show business, complete with knowledgeable, experienced individuals who came across with up-to-date and historic information I found fascinating.

Great value. I would recommend this program for the down home enterainment and the beauty of the location. You do not need to be a country music fan to enjoy Branson however. The shows offered are diverse enough to please most anyone.

Branson Show Biz is one of the best structured and executed programs I have attended. (It was my 45th.) It was chock full of wonderful presentations by knowledgeable and entertaining folks. Although we had a full schedule, there was a block of 3 hours on four days to allow individuals to explore the area. One afternoon, about 20 of the group were able to see "Joseph" at the newly constructed Sight and Sound Theatre. The next day, it happened that our presenter was a member of the cast. We were treated to interesting "behind the scenes" information, such as: the set was transported in 42 trailers from Lancaster, PA.
It's these types of things which separate Road Scholar programs from most group tours. Branson is a place I have wanted to visit for some time and this program allowed me to experience things which would not have been available to me otherwise. Ozark Adventures is to be commended for developing an outstanding Road Scholar Experience. Judith Emmers, Road Scholar Ambassador from Pennsylvania
