This is a great program if you are interested in ancient Mayan sites, and are up for some adventure too! The adventure activities are quite challenging, but very rewarding. Snorkeling is wonderful too. It's a wonderful mix of experiences!

The Belize/Guatemala adventure was everything I expected and more. I loved the challenging activities of hiking, rappelling, cave spelunking in a live museum of Mayan ruins absolutely exhilarating!!! Topping it off with two beautiful and relaxing days snorkeling and on the beach was everything I could have asked for.

This program is truly "moderately challenging" and has activities to please each participant. The trips to Mayan ruins, notably Tikal, were wonderful and educational. The very active days: hiking challenging trails, splelunking in dark watery caves, and rappelling into a huge sinkhole; were welcome to those who enjoy a high level of activity. Two days of snorkeling at the spectacular reef in Belize cap off the trip. This is a trip of a lifetime!

I just returned and are still high from the experience. A great mix of activities--hiking, caving, visits to magnificent Mayan sites, bird, rappelling (not as scary as it sounds), snorkling, and more. Rene, our guide, went out of his way to seek out wonderful experiences for us, including an amazing performance of Garifuna music & dance on our final evening. A few of the activities are quite physically challenging but overall this trip is suitable for adventurous people in good condition. Jane from Peacham VT

Our trip to Belize was fantastic! We hiked and rappelled, caved, snorkeled, and explored Mayan ruins, all in 9 days. We felt challenged and exhilarated. We'd recommend this program to people who want to use their bodies as well as their minds. Good food, too, and the people of Belize are very friendly, with warm smiles and a desire for you to enjoy their beautiful country. Go!
