This was my 4th Intergeneration program and it was by far the best. It was so well organized and most interesting for granddaughter and grandma. It was so filled with exciting visits to such wonderful places, i.e. the alpaca farm, the Oregon Coast marine science center and the outstanding Portland Zoo. The Audubon Society animal tracking class was perfect and at Oxbow Park, my granddaughter took pictures of deer tracks. She was thrilled with her new knowledge of tracks. The activity I suggest eliminating was the White Wolf Sanctuary, which simply did not live up to its promise. It seemed more of a rescued pet operation. However, on that visit we were treated to seeing a Golden Eagle and an Osprey's nest with the newly hatched Ospreys peeking over the edges of the nest. That was wonderful.

This program was top notch. The only big improvement I would suggest is that the group should have stayed overnight at the Oregon Coast rather than six hours of bus travel in one day. Then we would have had time to enjoy this beautiful coastline and walk it with the kids. There has to be an efficient way to do this, even if it means a few dollars more for the program.

Wonderful time with my grandson. I believe we are closer and we now have something we can talk and laugh together about. He had a great time and was not ready to come home. I think that right there says a lot about the program.

Great program! Our two grandchildren, Kaytlin (8) & Tyler (12) loved every single one of the planned activities. Especially loved the Alpaca Farm, the two hikes through the woods at Oxbow Park & the Portland Audubon Park, and the wild wolf sanctuary. Although, I'd say their excitement was just as evident at the Portland Zoo and the visit by the Critter Cabana! Thanks to Moira & Ann for their patience and knowledge about the area and about how to handle all the kids!
