The program was an excellent introduction to Andalucia for us and our two grandsons. We had visited Madrid (and environs) and northern Spain before joining the program and spent a few days in Barcelona afterward. It was a perfect addition to our itinerary providing excellent leadership, knowledgable guides, great accommodations, and great companions.

The most unexpected but wonderful aspect was the people, especially the grandchildren. They were such fun to watch as they made fun for themselves and were so open to adventure but also responsible and inclusive.

Seeing southern Spain with my granddaughter was an experience the two of us will always treasure. The trip was well-organized with many interesting activities for both the young and old alike. I highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to share a terrific travel experience with their grandchild.

This was a great trip for grandparents and teenagers. I think the kids learned a lot, especially my grandson who had never been abroad. Having kids your own age is important for this teenage period when kids like to do things in groups. The topics studied are interesting to all ages--ancient history, architecture, the Moorish culture, the bullfighting, the music and flamenco dancing. The food presentation on the ship was remarkable. So much effort put into everything for the guests.

Spain is a great place for grandparents and grandchildren to share. There is a diversity of attractions which appeal to all. The cruise ship was wonderful - very new and well run. The food was superb (but was French!). The trip to the Costa del Sol on the last day was a great way to end the experience. Everyone was thrilled with care and attention to detail, which makes a trip not 'good' but 'great'.

This was a wonderful program -- perhaps underrated in the catalog perhaps because it doesn't include Madrid or Barcelona. Seville made a wonderful headquarters for a good part of the program. Being on the boat was fun for all and it was great not having to pack/unpack so often!
