If you want to learn about fly-fishing in a comfortable country setting with a knowledgeable and welcoming staff and at the same time enjoy Gourmet cooking. This is the place. The area is known for the historic FRANK SLIDE as well as early Alberta history.

It was a grat program, well organized, in a wonderful location, and full of thoughtful componnts. Hwewver the materials I received before the trip did not adcurately describe the program .

I had an amazing time! The B&B was warm & welcoming, the fishing guides were super-helpful, and the other people felt like "family" after 5 days. I learned a tremendous amount & will put what I learned to use in subsequent fishing trips. I highly recommend this program to people who want to fish in a spectacularly beautiful location.

Lee from Minneapolis, MN Number of programs attended: 8
Date attended: 07/22/12 - 07/27/12
I am a first time fly fisher and the program was wonderful for me as well as for the experienced. The guides made sure all were challenged.
The Alberta scenery was beautiful and the 4 different rivers/streams we fished were unique in their own way.

Besides fishing we had the opportunity to make a fly (my one and only I predict) and I have a new admiration for those that make them. Yikes--not an easy thing to do.
We also had a great tour of the area---including touring an old coal mine and learning about the worst avalanche in Canadian history-Frank's Slide.

It was a great program and I highly recommend it. Accommodations were fine and the food (as usual) was terrific.
