Winter in Yellowstone was an excellent adventure. We felt like we had the park to ourselves. We had a group of 14 people from 5 states. The small size made everything seem more personal and allowed the opportunity to get to know people from a variety of backgrounds. The food and accommodations were good, the activities and tours were excellent. Thanks to Sue and our guide Leslie - their knowledge and passion allowed us to experience a trip we could not have had on our own.

The equipment that was provided was almost always excellent. The lectures (by Leslie) were timely. The dinners were substantial. The employees that were unaffiliated with RoadScholar (e.g.,Connie who drove a Bom' and Bron who led the snowmobiles) added to the experience through their insights. I'd rec this trip as one with all pros and no cons!!!

This past February my husband and I took part in the Yellowstone in Winter Road Scholar trip. We enjoyed the activities and the educational aspects of being in Yellowstone in the winter. Along with everything else it was fun meeting others who share our love of travel and learning. This was our first trip with RS and we now want to look at other trips with RS.

The Winter Ventures in Yellowstone is a wonderful trip! You get to see wildlife up close and personal. It gives you an opportunity to be active in the outdoors during the winter months.

This program provides a wonderful opportunity to experience an immensely popular destination at a time when there are very few people visiting using various modes of getting around: snowshoes, skiis, snow mobiles and snow coach to immerse oneself in the fascinating environment.

This was my very first Road Scholar Program so I was not sure of what to expect. What I gained far exceeded my highest expectations. I fell in love with Yellowstone, including the snow, winter activities, and seeing such majestic winter animals. This is definitely not my last Road Scholar Program and look forward to what is next! Thank you, Road Scholar, for guiding me in expanding my mind and my heart...
