Road Scholar
Program #13589RJ
5 Days | 4 Nights
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Moderate
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

This is an extremely interesting and fun program. Recommend it very highly. Between us, my companion and I have done close to 30 Road Scholar/Elderhostel trips and this rates at or near the top, though we have never had a bad experience. Do it!!!!

A great way to spend New Years vacation. Just the right amount of time.

I had always wanted to see the Mummers Parade and that's why I signed up. The parade, the performances at City Hall and the indoor presentations were a wonderful way to start the New Year. The educational component was really interesting and something I could not have done on my own. AND the rest of the program... the Gardens, museums, terrific seats at the Phil. Orchestra, delicious food, interesting participants and outstanding leaders make this one of the best of the 12 Road Scholar programs I've done.
