This was a great trip with some of the best local guides I've ever encountered. A great mixture of art history and the cultures of the cities visited

This program was our 3rd Road Scholar, the longest, most demanding but also the most rewarding. Liked the book suggestions to help with understanding the area prepared us well. Even though it was mostly an art tour truly enjoyed the time at the EU, the International court, and the flower market. As always came home with so much knowledge of where we had been and seen, thanks to our wonderful guides Franz and Balazs and a perky french gal... The food was great as well. the choice of restaurants was excellent. Is a tiring trip but so very well worth it...

Superb program with excellent leaders. A good mix of sightseeing, museum visits, experiencing local food, lectures, free time.

Was really pleased with the whole program of Amsterdam, Brussels and Paris. Can't go wrong I don't think.

This program gave a great overview of the history, art, food, and culture of each city and surrounding attractions. Beside the guide-lead activities, there was ample free time to do your own exploring and "food-finding" for meals not covered. Be sure you are up to the standing, walking, and stair-climbing necessary to enjoy this program.

Who would have thought that I could visit three European countries at a leisure pace in only 12 days? Balazs Fuzesi was with us all the way as our assistant guide and solver of all concerns. We got out of our comfort zones during free time to walk or take the bus or even the subway as we pursued another interest. Shopping was not a focus, but we could. Photography was always in order. Companionable members of the 20 member group made the experiences and free time really great --especially if you were single. Connections were made across the board to eat and enjoy sights together. I especially admire the team of Frans Buijze and Balazs Fuzesi. Franz and Balazs brought a playfulness to the group dynamics. Their knowedge of the places and attention to detail made the process smooth. In Paris, when we needed to change our hotel, Amale Bourhim was amazing at what she could do in a very few days to get us good and central accommodations.

Marvelous program! Barbara and Jessie were a good team, and the local experts were wonderful, too. I especially liked having the loose leaf Travel & Training program we received the first day. I could remove a page at a time to keep in my purse. Road Scholar arranged for us to stay an extra night so we could visit Normandy D-Day beaches May 7 via LinkParis.com. We had had the hotel book Paris Shuttle a couple days in advance to get us to the airport May 8.

Excellent program and superb program leaders in Frans, Balazs and Amale. Exceptional overview of each city. Wear comfortable shoes because walking from 2 to 5 miles or more per day up hills and on uneven pavements. Lots to see and do each day. Time made available for exploring on own. Recommend doing walking before hand if not use to walking up hills or uneven surfaces. Fine job done by program coordinators and all involved with various aspects of the program. Our program members were super. Rate program 5 stars out of 5 stars.

Amsterdam/Brussels/Paris (Cities of Inspiration) is an excellent program. Our group leaders, Frans Buijze, Amale Bourhim were outstanding as well as our program assistant, Balaza Fuzesi. Our group got along well together and had lots of fun with each other.

I highly recommend this Amsterdam, Brussels and Paris program to anyone. You cannot find 3 better leaders who handle this program. It is an educational experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and broadened our view of this part of the world. The walking, and then standing, was strenuous and by the end of the each day, after dinner, we were too tired to do much but go to bed. The availability of restrooms was adequate and perfectly clean once you found them--but they always seemed to be one, or two, flights of stairs up or down from where you were at the moment when you wanted them during the day. But this, and everything else, worked out well as each day came and went.

Fantastic trip for art lovers, which excellent tour leaders made even more interesting. Very heavily scheduled. If you want free time to get to know these interesting cities, be prepared to skip some of the scheduled activities.

Program is really strenuous for an 80-plusser. Would like to see better locations of hotels used and a little more free time to explore on our own (not talking about meals here.)

I think that this trip whet your appetite for future trips to the area. The size of the group was just perfect. It was small enough for everyone to get to know each other and yet large enough for there to be variety. the leaders were personable and knowledgeable about there area of expertise.
