Liz from Tucson, AZ # of programs Attended: 2 Date Attended: 07/11/13 - 07/19/13 We could not have found a more wonderful adventure for our 2 thirteen year old grandchildren. The whale sharks, lucking on the hatching out of tiny sea turtles and snorkling with the big ones, cooling cenote swims, Mayan ruins, jungle zip line, plus a compatible group and wonderful Emilio to guide and teach us. Our younger grandchildren can't wait for their turn!

This was a great trip for my granddaughter and me. The tour guide and all the activities were excellent. My only criticism is the accommodation at Hotel Villa Delfines where air conditioning and a modern bathroom would have been appreciated.

Just returned with my 11 year old grandson from the Road Scholar Intergenerational program to the Yucatan area. It was everything I expected, and MORE. Each day opened new vistas and learning experiences for both of us...from swimming to whale sharks to learning about the Mayan culture and the development of their calendar to walking through a jungle looking for spider monkeys in the trees and then ziplining OVER the trees! Our program guide made the learning experience so enjoyable and my grandson fairly bubbled over telling his folks about the 8 days! The six boys became friends by the end of the first day and their grandparents found things in common that made the trip quite pleasurable. The program was extremely well planned, with a perfect amount of free-time each day.
