Such a great education about Lewis and Clark, as well as the Geology of the region. Beautiful vistas all along the way. Truly enjoyed the program. Incredibly knowledgeable instructors. My experience on the Sea Bird was incredible. Wonderful staff and crew, as well the food!

Barbara from Aberdeen, WA Number of programs attended: 2

Absolutely first class experience. My vision limits my mobility at times. I was not sure about being able to board the "zodiacs" for the excursions away from the ship but the staff got us into the small crafts without incident. Our shore excursions were delightful and our instructors were first class. GO FOR IT.

Although I am happiest at home with my books, magazines, computer, NPR and TV, I went on this trip to accommodate my partner, who selected the trip on the basis of his interests and physical abilities. However, the experience exceeded my expectations, and I found it to be pleasurable in every way. I have nothing but praise to offer for Road Scholar and their exceptional staff.

Three exciting themes--hisotry (Lewis and Clark expedition), science (geology and biology) and art (photography) in the beautiful setting of America's northwest.

All the staff on the National Geographic ship, the Sea Bird were superb and extremely helpful to all attendees. Food and its preparation was tops and most selected from environmentally sustainable sourced.

A fantastic adventure! If you've never been on a small ship, go on this trip. It will open your eyes to the wonders of the area and how great it was to float along--in a kayak, a Zodiac, a jet boat, or the small ship that was home for those 6 days. Terrific museums, a great winery, loads of interesting people to interact with and meals you won't believe!

A truly wonderful trip - each day packed with educational and fun activities in every town along the way - lots of learning about geology, botany, and even photography, along with the history. Would recommend.

Wonderful history, nature, and scenery. Accommodations, food and wine and services were better than we expected. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Stairs and inclines were sometimes much steeper than we expected. G. Staples 10/08/14
