While all of our learning adventures offer extraordinary value, our "Best Value" programs were rated by our participants themselves who thought their dollar went particularly far.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

What an incredible experience! We were fortunate enough to Journey Into the Heart of Asia in February 2013. Photos and a more in depth review at: http://destinationnow.me/2013/02/25/why-i-love-road-scholar/

Just completed "Journey into the Heart of Asia". This was our first Road Scholar trip and we are completely sold on Road Scholar! The trip was amazing in every way - from the organization and logistics, to the tour guide and country guides, the food, the wonderful speakers, the variety of experiences, and the attention detail. It left us with a much better understanding of SE Asia - its history, food, culture and challenges. Can't wait for our next Road Scholar trip!

Patricia from Bellevue, WA Number of programs attended: 2
Date attended: 10/23/12 - 11/12/12
The trip was wonderful I was especially surprised by Laos,I would go back in a second, and watching the movie Indochine on the back deck of the boat Emeraude while on Halong Bay cant be described in words, more of a feeling. Way too much food- don't plan on loosing weight on this trip ,loose it before ...then again after. Our guide was great my co- travelers also. Cambodia was the hottest, well lots of humidity and we were out in it longer than in other areas but it was all part of being someplace other than home!

Syrena from Clarksville, TN Number of programs attended: 13
Date attended: 10/23/12 - 11/12/12
This was our 12th trip with Road Scholar, 6 of which were out of country. I thought the trip to Kenya 2008 was the best, but now I'm not so sure. The SE Asia program really exceeded my expectations. Syrena, TN

Kathy from Rochester, MN Number of programs attended: 1
Date attended: 10/23/12 - 11/12/12
This was my first experience with Road Scholar. The trip to Asia was wonderful. I would change Vietnam: Three days in Saigon, One day at Halong Bay, and one in Hanoi.

Doris from Durham, NC Number of programs attended: 11
Date attended: 01/17/12 - 02/06/12
The program content, lectures, hands-on-experiences, "sightseeing" and accommodations were appropriate. This is critical to money-savers.

The MEALS were EXCELLENT!
