See our Small Group programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

Glacier's Grandeur is well named. Even after the glaciers there have melted in a few years, the eternal beauty of the mountains will remain, and if we who love this place will do our best to conserve and preserve the ecosystem, the coming generations will also be able to enjoy the flowers, the animals, the fresh cold waters, the peace of the place.

We had a wonderful five days in Glacier! Our leader was efficient and a delightful person to be around. All the presenters were just excellent. We enjoyed being in the Lake McDonald complex. Meals were wonderful. The scenery was stunning. We enjoyed all the hikes and were appreciative that different levels were offered. We saw and experienced things that we would not have done on our own. We recommend this program!

Well-organized and planned. Leader on top of everything. Although the program is listed as "active" varying ability levels were provided for. All the presenters were interesting, accommodations were good, and meals were excellent.

What a joy to experience those mountains in Glacier Nat'l Park. Nothing can match them. And that clean, crisp air every morning. Wonderful hikes, great leaders, good food - who could ask for anything more?? If you've never been to this part of Montana, this is a great way to see it.

Beautiful setting, great guides! Not overly strenuous, but should be in good physical condition to take full advantage of the location.

Bill and I enjoyed our experience in Glacier N.P. very much. The scenery was spectacular and the guides outstanding. Lake MacDonald Lodge is a charming old hotel with a lovely view to the lake. Flower pots all around the hotel added to the charm of the place. Bill especially loved the Columbian Ground Squirrels. Ladye

We have just completed the program at Glacier and the only negative thing we have to say is, "We're sad it is over!" the hiking seemed to include all the highlights of our area. Our instructors were experts in their area and our group members were delightful.

This was a great adventure in Glacier National Park. It was our first Road Scholar trip and we really enjoyed it. We felt that we were able to see and learn things we would have never gotten on our own. We really enjoyed having the rooms, meals and transportation taken care of for us. Meeting and visiting fellow travelers was an added benefit to the experience. We hope to do more trips with Road Scholar in the future.

I want to say we loved the trip so much last year we came back and loved it again. The two trips were our main vacations each year.I would hope to come again.
