This Gardens, Orchards and Vineyards of the Willamette Valley was WONDERFUL! GREAT LEADERS! THEY KNEW EVERYTHING ABOUT OREGON AND THE GARDENS! ARNIE HAD A SUPER SENSE OF HUMOR TO KEEP US ENJOYING THE GARDENS IN THE RAIN. CAROLYN IS ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTFUL, WELL ORGANIZED AND MET OUR EVERY NEED. WE APPRECIATED EVERY STOP. THE UNIVERSITY WAS A HIGHLIGHT. WE HAD FUN MAKING APPLE CIDER. ALL OF THE GARDENS WERE SPECTACULAR (EVEN IN THE OREGON RAIN) THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS. I APRECIATED GETTING THE RECIPE FOR THE ARTICHOKE WHITE LASAGNA. OUR BEDS WERE VERY COMFORTABLE. WE ENJOYED TILIKUM CENTER. MARY E. LOGAN (ROBERT LOGAN SENT IN "my" REPORT ON HIS COMPUTER. THANKS FOR SENDING THE REVIEW TO MY COMPUTER. WE MADE FRIENDS WITH ONE WOMAN WHO IS A DIFFICULT PERSON.(MAURINE SUTTER) SHE MAY BE CRITICAL BUT THAT IS HER MODUS OPERENDI. SHE WAS A CHALLENGE FOR EVERYONE BUT MADE "FRIENDS" WITH US.

Excellent program that exceeded my expectations. If you like gardening or just like viewing remarkably beautiful places, consider this trip. We saw amazing gardens, orchards and vineyards that were inspiring. The food was freshly prepared and wonderful. The instruction was excellent. Leaders were well organized. I learned a lot and had a lot of fun. Highly recommend this program.

I just returned from my first Road Scholar adventure in Oregon and cannot express my appreciation and satisfaction with the program, its leaders and instructors. Everyday was such fun exploring different gardens and the meals were always healthy and delicious after a full day! Yes, it rained a few days, but it didn't dampen our spirits or plans. I made several new friends and look forward to my next RS trip!
