A well rounded program with good lectures and good sites to see. The activity level was more difficult than advertised so read carefully and adjust up. Philadelphia is an easy to love city with much history to learn about.

We came day early from West Coast for the orientation. A very short one was held the next day. Waste of money & time for only a dinner. Orientation was only to give out ear phones. very disappointed. Not told ahead of time to bring Med. cards for free bus rides on free day

Much to see and learn about the history of our country. Extensive walking ---no hills but some uneven bricks and cobblestones . Delicious food. A highlight was dinner at Victor's, an Italian restaurant with very talented singing waiters and waitressses

Jeanne from Colorado Springs, CO Number of programs attended: 2
Date attended: 10/12/14 - 10/17/14
Marvelous trip if you love history, good food, and a fair amount of walking. bring good walking shoes, as lots of cobblestones and uneven payment. We walked 1-3 miles per day. ( all flat)

Iris from Andover, MN Number of programs attended: 29
Date attended: 09/21/14 - 09/26/14
Philadelphia has been way to modest in claiming its huge role in establishing intellectual freedom in the U.S. I was amazed to learn about all the "firsts" they established---way beyond the post office and fire department we learned about in grade school. What a beautiful restoration of the historic places---where our nation truly began. Really fine program.

Not only did this program refresh my school years knowledge of Philadelphia history, it provided refreshing and interesting new details of many of the pioneers that I likely would not have ever known about. It made me want to learn more and travel more!
