If you would like a rollicking adventure at sea, sign up! The boat and crew were excellent and the sailing knowledge shared was great. Learning the history of "under sail" will give you a great appreciation for what life was like at sea. This was a wonderful education and will give you a great adventure and many wonderful sailing memories.

Delightful and fun! If you enjoy sailing and can be flexable...mostly weather related it's a great four night getaway. The coast of Maine is beautiful...enjoy!

Six days on the Angelique was a grand adventure. Captain , crew, cook provided a great experience for this hands on traveler.

The boat is beautiful, the staff is great! The food is Yum! But pick a very warm time of year to go. June was too cold. Be prepared for very cramped quarters. I found I was not the pioneer woman I thought I was.

An experience to enjoy!

Sailing was a new experience for me and even though the weather was not always sunny and warm and the berths are small, none of those comforts really mattered! The skipper and crew were wonderful: courteous, respectful and outstanding at what they each did! The Angelique is beautiful! The first time the sails were unfurled was thrilling!Oh, and the food! Delicious! It was a wonderful experience —I would do it again in a heartbeat.

If you go in this trip early in the season, and run into bad weather, we had 3 days straight of rain and cold, you will be very very cold. There is not one room with heat on the vessel. Bring wool cap and gloves. the food was good

I went on this adventure for my husband as he has always wanted to sail. And I ended up enjoying it as much as he did! There is no better way to truly experience Maine

Lovely trip with a terrific crew, interesting people, fabulous scenery and a beautiful boat. While the quarters were tight, we still slept pretty well though I think the trip must be really phenomenal when the weather is warmer. The chef was not only talented but very accommodating. I would highly recommend the Angelique and it's crew.

I found the trip to be relaxing with the staff on the vessel fantastic every one. The views are spectacular- food beyond belief. The vessel unique. Sleeping quarters a bit tight but manageable. Meals were exquisite!! Quite a nice adventure! The captain is a great personality!

If the romance of sailing draws you to Maine I know you will find the Angelique under Captain Dennis Gallant a dream fulfilled. This program is in my "top ten" vacations experiences.

This is a thoroughly enjoyable cruise, but not in the same sense that one experiences on the seagoing hotel of a cruise liner. You are on the ocean...close enough to taste it and with the wind always in your hair. Though the Angelique is crewed by real sailors, guests are welcome to help raise the sails, to steer the vessel, and to learn as much about the sea as is possible in the time available. Food is great and sleeping and "head" accommodations are as good as could be expected on such a ship.

Judi from Kingston, ON Number of programs attended: 1

My experience on Angelique was simply delightful. Learning about sailing was a new experience for me and the captain and crew made it most enjoyable. We were treated to enthusiastic lectures and hands-on experiences, as well as delicious meals. The captain and all the crew made us feel welcome and valued.

A great activity to share with my husband, but bunk beds and a serious lack of privacy meant that hanky-panky was out of the question!

Although I had never sailed before on such a beautiful ship, I was very excited for my trip to celebrate retirement. The Angelique more than fulfilled my expectations!. The captain and his crew were kind, patient, and very willing to share their knowledge. The naturalist and the veterinarian added so much education about the coast of Maine. The added pleasure and surprise was the food. It was exceptional! Hoppy created wonderful meals! I would recommend this trip to anyone!! Thank you to the entire crew!!! Kay from Columbus, Ohio

Having never sailed before, we very much enjoyed our trip on the Angelique. Captain Dennis and his crew were so competent and fun to be with. The scenery was beautiful, even during the day of heavy rain. Our food was wonderful because the chef was so creative. (He actually shelled a cooked lobster in seconds with his bare hands!) Our naturalist Carissa and our historian Bud added so much to our understanding of the Maine coast and its wildlife. This has been our favorite Road Scholar trip.
