Road Scholar
Program #19681RJ
6 Days | 5 Nights
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Active
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

I've attended a fair number of Road Scholar/Exploratas/Elderhostel programs over the years, and would rank this one among the very most enjoyable. I felt it was extremely well planned and executed, and I returned home with a load of pleasant memories, as well as new knowledge gained. I highly recommend this experience to anyone interested in exploring a truly beautiful and exciting city.

If you've never been to Minneapolis, I urge you to visit on a Road Scholar trip. It's a vibrant city, and the tour I was on there last week was an excellent overview of the architecture, art and music available.

Wonderful program, well-organized, interesting, and exciting. One of the best Road Scholar programs I've attended, if not the best!

The study of Minneapolis was most i formative and stimulating. Our program director was of the same excellent caliber of all of the others I have had with RS. Barbara Meyer did everything to make this an especially memorable experience for us all.

The program in Minneapolis is truly worthwhile. If one is at all interested in art, architecture, and the performing arts, this trip should not be missed. The food is pretty good too.

This was an outstanding program! We were fortunate to have an excellent group leader. Minneapolis is a wonderful city and we got a great introduction to it. My friends and I spent a couple of days exploring St. Paul after the program. If you sign up for the Minneapolis program, you might want to consider adding on the St. Paul one also.

Well, Barb could not have been a better leader -- even through the rain. What a splendid trip: the Guthrie was a highlight as was the visit to St Paul which was sumptuous. Nice people and very fine trip. Gloria

The Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul have many cultural opportunities which this program explored. Nationally the Cities are ranked very high and this was a chance to see them at their best.

This was the first "Signature City" program I attended and it definitely sparked my interest in attending others. I had never visited the Twin Cities and didn't realize what gems they are! I highly recommend this program. LK
