EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

This is a program of interest to all Americans. Makes one appreciate once again the price paid for the gift of living in this wonderful nation.

Outstanding program. Not a casual or laid back experience, but intense study and experience of Civil War history. I learned much even though we had been there several times before. None of other tours and such provided as much in-depth study of the history and strategies of both sides of this epic battle. Information about civilian population was also interesting. Outstanding guides and presenters.

I agree that there was too much sitting in the classroom. The lectures were good but they could have been reduced to an hour in length. I also would have liked to have had more human interest such as life of an average soldier. Also I had an expectation seeing presenters in period costumes, such as a union and confederate soldier. Also the David Wills house would be good addition. Overall I thought it was good but I did have to skip an afternoon of programs to return to the visitor center to finish the museum.

Road Scholar's Gettysburg program for Sept 16 - 21 provide very little physical exposure to the battlefield and far, far too much time sitting in meeting rooms.
