Road Scholar
Program #10382RJ
7 Days | 6 Nights
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Active
Road Scholar has thousands of educational adventures to choose from. A good way to narrow down our list is to browse our collection of "Most Popular" programs.
See all of our Most Popular programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

This was a consistently excellent experience! Our leaders were knowledgeable and paced experiences for maximum enjoyment. Accommodations were clean and quite comfortable. The scheduled events were quite special. And I particularly appreciated that directions, orientation to an area, and suggestions were clear and facilitated a little personal exploration during free time, without worrying about getting lost or finding appropriate transportation/food/refreshment. Sylvie and Andree are absolutely delightful leaders and the group size is conducive to good conversation. Highly recommend!

This program provides an excellent overview of the cultures that make up Quebec province. It is a beautiful presentation of the art and culture of the regions.

I heartily recommend this program to both new Road Scholar participants as well as seasoned travelers. Although Montreal and Quebec City are close to the United States I felt that i was far from home on a wonderful adventure.

This program exceeded my expectations for such a brief encounter with French Canada. The level of music and art experiences were far beyond what I had anticipated. Andree and Sylvie were terrific and made sure that everyone was enjoying the trip in spite of the weather (rain!). Our feet were tired, but we saw a lot of both Montreal and Quebec up close and personal. Great time.

I thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance when visiting Montreal and Quebec. Found the French Canadians very kind and welcoming. I learned a lot about our lovely northern neighbors and their great country. Accommodations, food, tours and entertainment were excellent. Andree Story, Albuquerque, New Mexico

Montreal and Quebec were not cities I had on my "bucket list"; however, I would recommend visiting them to anyone. They are interesting cities and the people are so very friendly!

This was a fantastic program. The food and accommodations were excellent and tour guides were very imformative as well as funny and personable. We even had a private jazz performace and a demonstration of the organ played in one of the basilicas. There is alot of walking and in Quebec there were a few places with many steps/hills but definitely do-able. I think the rating of "active" level was accurate. We had a great group and Sylvie and Andree were helpful, informative and FUN!
