The spy program in Washington DC was great. It was very informative and a lot of fun. I also got a chance to see a great city and visit some wonderful sights. One of the best aspects however was how the instructors made the material relevant to the current events at the time. During our program the Paris bombings took place and this became part of the material presented. Well done all around.

Usually, I refrain from taking notes during the lectures. This time sure was different! Each speaker was fascinating with much knowledge to share. You return from this program with a greater understanding of national and world events.

The tour of the Cryptology museum was one of the best and most fascinating I ever experienced. Don't miss it.

Irene from Scottsdale, AZ Number of programs attended: 2
Date attended: 06/10/15 - 06/14/15
This program helped to satisfy my quest for knowledge about the operation of the CIA. Instead of free time, I could have used more sessions with any or all of the presenters.

Sandra from Sewickley, PA Number of programs attended: 23

This was an eye-opening experience. I will never look at a mark on a mailbox in the same way again.

Phyllis from New York, NY Number of programs attended: 8

A fascinating inside look at espionage and related activities seldom encountered in "ordinary" life. Well planned program with lectures, field trips and free time. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Road Scholar does it again with knowledgeable, thought-provoking speakers and field trips to places I never would have thought to go.

Melinda from Los Angeles, CA Number of programs attended: 7

A fascinating trip to the underworld of government, and experiences of former c.i.a. members

Linda from Bedford, PA Number of programs attended: 54

If you are interested in the intelligence of our government, this is the program for you. It is extremely informative. The accommodations are very comfortable and the group is rather small so field trips were easy. The Spy Museum is wonderful.

Ralph from Bedford, TX Number of programs attended: 5
Date attended: 09/03/14 - 09/07/14
This program was one that will open your eyes to an inner sanctum of government that you rarely hear about!

Deborah from Bedford, TX Number of programs attended: 4
Date attended: 09/03/14 - 09/07/14
This program will exceed your expectations! The learning curve is high and the speakers are so knowledgeable as it is THEIR world we enter. Never a dull moment and quite a few thought provoking moments. GO!!!

Ronald from Center Barnstead, NH Number of programs attended: 5
Date attended: 09/03/14 - 09/07/14
This was an excellent program. The instructors were extremely knowledgeable, credible and witty. Our leader and his wife were extremely welcoming and did everything possible to make it a great program. There were 33 persons in the group - just right!

Rita Kay from Bartlesville, OK Number of programs attended: 3
Date attended: 11/07/13 - 11/10/13
Fascinating subject. Knowledgeable instructors helped us to see how important lie detectors were to various services, how photos from planes showed the missiles in Cuba, how people are recruited to spy for another ideology. Of course, the other participants add to the program because of their various backgrounds and knowledge.

Sandra from Barrington, RI Number of programs attended: 17
Date attended: 11/07/13 - 11/10/13
An opportunity to meet an entirely different side of Washington DC based in an outstanding area of the city. Learn the imperative intertwining of diplomacy and espionage, particularly interesting to those who have already done programs co-sponsored by Amer Foreign Service Asso. Visit the Nat'l Cryptology Museum - in a surprising location - and receive an all day pass for the Nat'l Spy Museum located in close proximity to many other museums as well. And receive an engrossing reading list!
