EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

The food and music were wonderful. A great experience. I would suggest that the activity level be described as "moderate" rather than "easy" because there was a great deal of walking involved between the hotel and the festival site, and from one music venue to another.

The French Quarter Music Festival was a remarkable program. The food, the music at the festival (12 stages over three days!) , and the lectures, which included wonderful New Orleans music, were enthralling. We loved every minute of it.

We just finished the New Orleans French Quarter Music Festival trip and it far exceeded our expectations. The hotel and restaurants were first class and upscale. The classroom work with outstanding performers in their own rite couldn't have been better. We would recommend the program without reservation.

If you love music, food, and friendly people, do not miss this program. I learned so much about music and musicians(jazz, especially) and got an insight into the mind and lifestyle of these talented people who give so much to the rest of us. The food was the best I have ever eaten anywhere. The hotel was ideally located within walking distance of all the events. Barbara and company obtained wonderful rooms for our group. Hospitality of NOLA was warm and welcoming. If you did not love the city and jazz before the trip, you certainly would afterwards. Do not miss this experience!

This program was excellent. Both leaders (we were divided into two groups but spent some time together with both of the leaders) were enthusiastic, knowledgeable, likable, and helpful. The person who led the half-day tour of the city was also great. I give all three of them (Annette, Joyce, and the person who led the city tour) A+ -- and I'm not an easy grader. Our classes were conducted by people who were not only outstanding musicians but also good teachers. They also get A+. The restaurants were for the most part outstanding (you can't get any better than Commander's Palace), and we had a nice balance of planned activities and free time. Everything was beautifully organized and efficient, yet with a laid-back feeling appropriate to the ambience of New Orleans. I was about to end this review by saying that I highly recommend the program, but I guess that's pretty clear.
