This was a once in a lifetime fabulous adventure and educational program geared for fit travelers. There is a lot of strenuous hiking and many educational Mayan sites are thoroughly explored. The last few days were the Belize paradise snorkeling vacation you hear about. I had a wonderful experience!

This was an excellent program and a wonderful adventure. It was also physically challenging. Rene was an outstanding leader and we had a congenial group of only 9 participants, which was really nice. It exceeded my expectations and I'm really glad I went. I highly recommend it.

This trip exceeded our expectations. We were looking for a physically challenging program and this filled the bill. Hiking, boating, snorkeling, climbing, rappelling, spelunking - what else could be ask for?

Wonderful experience! I loved the various Mayan ruins and the ATM cave. The hiking on the sinkhole & rappeling day was definitely challenging and several of our group took advantage of the alternate activity. I live in flat NC and definitely should have trained on hills before the trip! Wonderful experience...

The Itinerary was great, scenery beautiful, and we now have a new appreciation for the Mayan culture.

If you are looking for an adventure, but want the assurance of having professional guides, this is a trip to consider. The historical aspect of the Mayan sites was well balanced by the physical activities we did. The opportunities to see wildlife were many and varied, which added another layer of interest to the trip. We were often tired, wet, and muddy by the end of the day, but we knew a hot shower and comfortable bed awaited us at the end of the day. The moderately challenging rating was well earned on several days, but the experiences were definitely one of a kind.

As a moderately fit person, this program challenged me physically, but when I needed help, help was always there. The experiences were quite extraordinary and well worth the effort. Learned a lot about both Belize and Guatemala and the Mayan civilization.

This is a great program if you are interested in ancient Mayan sites, and are up for some adventure too! The adventure activities are quite challenging, but very rewarding. Snorkeling is wonderful too. It's a wonderful mix of experiences!

The Belize/Guatemala adventure was everything I expected and more. I loved the challenging activities of hiking, rappelling, cave spelunking in a live museum of Mayan ruins absolutely exhilarating!!! Topping it off with two beautiful and relaxing days snorkeling and on the beach was everything I could have asked for.

This program is truly "moderately challenging" and has activities to please each participant. The trips to Mayan ruins, notably Tikal, were wonderful and educational. The very active days: hiking challenging trails, splelunking in dark watery caves, and rappelling into a huge sinkhole; were welcome to those who enjoy a high level of activity. Two days of snorkeling at the spectacular reef in Belize cap off the trip. This is a trip of a lifetime!
