4 Days | 3 Nights
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

The location at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Beach in Ventura was delightful! And all the educational experiences were fun! We DID get to go out to Santa Cruz Island on the Island Packers' boat, and that was a very enjoyable experience, especially walking around on the island and seeing the Island Foxes!

This was a delightful trip - very well organized, and very well run. Visiting Santa Cruz Island gives us a view of what California was like hundreds of years ago. The guest speakers and naturalists were highly qualified and very personable. It was a delight to see the tiny Channel Island Fox up close - as the four-pound top predator on the island, it's not particularly afraid of anything, and did not shy away from the humans tromping along the canyon trail. I greatly enjoyed the entire experience.

I highly recommend this program as a means to show what damages we have done as 'owners' of this world, and also to show what good things we 'owners' of this world can try to restore or recover if we make ourselves responsible and aware.

My group of 4 enjoyed the education on the Channel Islands and Indians, other activites to fill in for missed boat trip, good speakers, leader and hospitality. Sorry we did did not make it to the Island but understand why. Safety first.. Reason for writing is to say "Thanks for the refund" of some of our trip cost that would have covered ride to the island and for credit towards next program. Appreciate it.

The substitution trip was nice and it's difficulty appropriate.
