If you watch CSI, Law and Order, etc., it's a fun way to learn about what they do right and what is just literary license and eye candy.

If you watch those crime programs on TV, you will enjoy this opportunity to hear what is fact or myth. Professionals in the field share their expertise . A lot of time in the classroom. Not much physical activity but hotel has gym (for a fee). Hotel is centrally located for walks to other hotel/casinos if you desire some walking.

I am just wrapping up my last day in this program and have deemed it the best R.S. program I've ever attended. The quality of the lectures is exemplary and the enthusiasm of the experts in their chosen fields is contagious. I highly recommend this program. You'll get overall tours of Las Vegas in addition to the given subject matter. I hate to see this end!!!

"Crime Scene Forensics" that we attended in Las Vegas was terrific! The real crime scenes, not the TV version of CSI, were what we covered and experienced in detail. Hearing a retired Las Vegas detective speak of crimes, with all of the details, was so interesting. What happened? Where did it happen? Who was involved? How was the crime discovered? How do the detectives do their "detecting" - all was so interesting. It was amazing.

Blood spatter patterns, DNA, finger printing, police dogs (police officer and dog in class), Henderson Detention Center, dental forensics ... it's all amazing! You learn so much about what really goes on. And, a trip to the real CSI location in Las Vegas!

For anyone who wants to learn about how the real detectives work, this is the program to experience. Great program!
