This program gives a brief overall look into the art of glass and is really great for some hands-on experience. Visiting with a well known glass artist in his studio is a highlight of the experience.

This program was exceptionally well-prepared, including a mini-tour of Seattle. The leader Carol was very knowledgeable of the history and notable sights in the Seattle area. The class at the Pratt Fine Arts Center included: Glass Blowing, Sand Casting, Glass Fusing, and Bead Making. The accommodations were excellent and the food was well prepared. My fellow classmates were a fun and diverse group that got along exceptionally well with each other. We met two talented artists: Martin Blank related his experiences on the rocky road to becoming a world class artist. The other artist, David White(?) was working on a commission in the hot shop behind a glass supply store that we got to tour. Highly recommend this program.

This was a wonderful experience. The leader did a terrific job or keeping us on track and schedule. The different experiences with glass blowing and fusing were informative and fun. Highly recommended.
