13 Days | 12 Nights
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Active
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

Giles Ramsay is a very knowledgeable, interesting, well prepared, articulate ,and excellent lecturer who provided a quality program - couldn't have been better in my view. Annette Burton is also outstanding and a joy to be with.

Fantastic program! We would definitely recommend it highly to anyone who loves the elegance of the TransAtlantic crossing and the London theatre scene. Giles Ramsay and Bel were delightful, knowledgeable and endlessly patient!

as a 'solo traveler' i was a bit reluctant to put my toe back into the worldwide travel world. turns out, Road Scholar's Queen Mary 2 program on the history of theatre was a perfect way for me to wake up my travel instinct. not only did i learn all about the history of theatre, i met truly interesting fellow travelers, and now feel confident about this solo travel situation. the program set-up offers adequate 'me time', the familiarity of a friendly group at regular intervals, and even for chance meetings on the QM2 among thousands of strangers. i am, again, a world traveler, and i can do it on my own. thank you Road Scholar.

Learning about British theater (and many other things) while crossing the Atlantic Ocean on the Queen Mary II, and then spending a week in London enjoying its history, art, music, and (of course) theater.... What's not to like about THAT!

On our September 2013 crossing we experienced some added excitement when the Queen Mary 2 diverted course on the morning of September 26, to aid Mylene Paquette who was rowing across the Atlantic. Here is an article from the Daily Mail. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/travel/article-2433659/Queen-Mary-2-delivers-supplies-solo-woman-rower-Myl-ne-Paquette-Atlantic.html There was coverage in many other Canadian, English and French newspapers. See my photos below.
