An excellent program that provides an outstanding introduction to Russian history and culture. Our group leader, Violeta, was one of the most sophisticated and enthusiastic that we have had on the six RS international programs that we have joined. Her commentaries in the Pushkin Museum of Art, the Tretyakov Gallery, the Kremlin Armoury and Cathedral Square, were outstanding as was her management of trip logistics. She really achieved her objective of conveying something of the Russian soul to the group. The treasures of St. Petersburg were also outsanding.

This program is one of the best that Road Scholar offers. . It is a FEAST for the eyes and a must for lovers of music and dance. The museums are spectacular, the folk shows are lots of fun and not at all hokey, the Guides are THE BEST, and the experiences that you live are ones that you'll never forget. Moscow is an incredibly beautiful city, Red Square and the Kremlin are awe inspiring, the cathedrals and the museums are wonderful. St. Petersburg is just one WOW after another.

Our guide Violeta was So knowledgeable and enthusiastic about showing us her country and its culture, and this enthusiasm was contagious. This tour is fast paced but worth the effort.
