While all of our learning adventures offer extraordinary value, our "Best Value" programs were rated by our participants themselves who thought their dollar went particularly far.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

A wonderful program with lots of activities to keep the grandchildren as well as the grandparents engaged and interested. We had rain every day but it didn't stop us. Be sure to pack rain gear and a pair of waterproof shoes would be good. It is very humid and cool in Ireland so hard to dry shoes, etc.

First off, the two leaders, Katy Dobey and Clare Madden were outstanding... able to relate to both young and old. Accommodations were well above average. I cannot remember a bad meal...and we had so many choices!
As for the program, Madi(12) and I could truly appreciate the world-class step dancers because one of our 'classes' was a fun attempt to teach us some of the most simple steps. The world champion pros we had the opportunity to see with Liam O'Connor's show made it look easy! It isn't.
Blarney Castle and grounds was an early highlight with a chance to kiss that famous stone. I appreciated seeing Cobh with all its history and of course the last port of the Titanic.
Madi loved squeezing into the wet suit, paddling the kayak and water activities. We both enjoyed the excellent storytellers. The ride to Muckross House in the small boats - in the soft rain - was gorgeous and exciting. I've been to medieval banquets before, but not in Ireland, in a REAL CASTLE! I could have spent more time watching the sheep dogs work...Our impromptu tour to Galway (because of RAIN) was wonderful. The historian/archaeologist was interesting and enthusiastic... and what a pleasure to see a mall built around an ancient wall, thus preserving that piece of history.
A big surprise for me was the intriguing, amazing spiderweb of the burren. Madi also was fascinated. I had pictured it as more or less a wasteland. Far from it! The Cliffs of Moher made a spectacular end to a lovely introduction to a bit of Ireland.

The activities/lectures on this program were very well planned. They held both my granddaughter's (age 11) and my interest. I think the planners made a special effort to keep the children happy!..in so doing that, we the grandparents were able to enjoy ourselves.

I think the children would have liked more time at the sheep farm. We were able to see the dogs work, and sheep being sheared, but we were back in the coach in very short order!

The food and lodgings were very good. Again efforts were made to please the tastes of everyone.I don't believe anyone left the dinning room hungry!

As a suggestion, waterproof footwear should be advised for this trip! Luckily our shoes were dried out (mostly), overnight!
